Volunteer Opportunities
At Freedom, we are letting go! Our volunteer teams are an active part of what God is doing at Freedom. We will empower you for your ministry, not just recruit your for ours (Ephesians 4:11-12). Whatever your interests might be, you can count on us to help you find the ideal volunteer team.
To volunteer at Freedom Church, simply:
– Choose a team that interests you
– Complete a First Experience
Once you’ve chosen a team that interests you, you will be scheduled for your First Experience as a volunteer. It includes a brief orientation to Freedom Church and the opportunity to shadow your Volunteer Team. The First Experience is designed to assist you in finding your volunteer “sweet spot.”
– Commit to Volunteering
At Freedom, the initial commitment period to a Volunteer Team is three months. Once you’ve volunteered in a role for three months, you may continue in that role, try something different, or take a break from volunteering. Most of our Volunteer Teams are on a bi-weekly rotation. Your commitment will be based on your specific team.
At Freedom, Volunteer Teams are organized into three main areas:
FreedomKidz
Passionate about seeing children and their families filled with life in Christ? The Freedom Kidz Volunteer Team has opportunities from interacting directly with kids to behind-the-scenes roles. No matter what gifts or abilities you have, use them to impact children’s lives.
Guest Services
Love people? Want to be part of creating a lasting first experience for our guests at Freedom? The Guest Services Volunteer Team provides you the opportunity to do just that, through one-on-one conversations or in behind-the-scenes roles.
Production
It’s our desire that every worship experience point to the vision of Freedom Church. Our heart is to elevate the name of Jesus with excellence and energy. When you step into a Freedom worship experience, the overall tone you’ll find is one of celebration and joy, where we are holding nothing back in worship of our God. The energy level is high, the music is loud (loud enough for us to offer earplugs to anyone who wants them…) and our demonstration of love for our God is great.
The Production Volunteer Team offers both technical and non-technical opportunities. You can be a part of creating these worship experiences through volunteering in Audio, Video, or Lighting.
