After several years as a Student Pastor, God made clear the call to start a powerful church in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. This vision became a reality when several families sold homes, quit jobs, and moved 400 miles to Acworth, GA to start what would become Freedom Church.

In the last three years, Freedom Church has grown to more than 800 in attendance. Since our launch in January 2008, Freedom Church has seen more than 600 people accept Christ and 271 baptized.

The vision of Freedom Church is to see people far from God experience life in Christ. Pastor J.R. has an overwhelming desire to see lives changed and a move of God take place in this community and around the world.

Pastor J.R. graduated from Liberty University and resides in Acworth with his wife, Devin. They have three children, Lexi, London, and Bryce.
